Our Story

Every great journey begins with a small dream. Ours began not with costumes, but with dance.

More than two decades ago, Abhiruchi Costume Kart started as a small dance academy with just 30 enthusiastic students. As our students began participating in annual functions, cultural festivals, and competitions, we realized that finding high-quality costumes was one of the biggest challenges for schools, parents, and performers. The available options were limited, expensive, and often lacked authenticity.

Instead of accepting the problem, we decided to solve it.

We began creating and renting costumes for our own performances. Word spread quickly. Soon, neighboring schools approached us for costumes for their stage productions, annual days, and cultural events. What started as a small collection soon grew into one of South Delhi's most trusted costume libraries.

Over the years, CostumeKart has had the privilege of serving leading educational institutions across South Delhi, including schools such as Apeejay, Modern School, Delhi Public School (DPS), K.R. Mangalam, and many other prestigious institutions. As our reputation for quality, reliability, and service grew, so did our reach.

Today, CostumeKart proudly serves schools, colleges, theatre groups, event companies, production houses, corporates, and individual performers across Delhi NCR and throughout India. Our costumes have travelled far beyond our borders as well, reaching customers in multiple countries for international performances, educational events, brand activations, mascot campaigns, and cultural celebrations.

What began with a handful of costumes has now grown into one of India's largest collections of costumes, mascots, character outfits, historical attire, mythology costumes, regional dresses, fancy dress costumes, and custom-designed creations. Every costume is crafted or curated with the same attention to detail that we expected for our own students years ago.
